2013 Scholarships - Application Process

Soo Yuen Benevolent Association will be accepting scholarship applications for Year 2013 from 11/22/2012 to 01/05/2013.

The following are details for application:

Application Period: From 11/22/2012 to 01/05/2013.  Do not send in applications before or after these dates.

1. All applications must reach the headquarters NO Later Than 5:00 p.m. on 01/05/2013.
2. English School Scholarship - Open to only students graduating in Year 2013. Additionally, the students' parents must have been a registered member of the headquarters for at least one full year, and must have fulfilled the membership duty.
3. Chinese School Scholarship - Open to students from one of the following Chinese language schools ONLY: Chung Wah, Cumberland, Nam Kiu, St. Mary's and Hip Wo. Additionally, eligible students must be graduating from Elementary, Junior high or High school during 2013.
4. All applicants must report to the Soo Yuen Headquarters no later than 9:00 a.m., 1/19/2013 for interviews.
5. Application forms may be obtained from the Headquarters, from the respective schools, or downloaded from this website by clicking the links below, Chinese App_13.pdf for Chinese language school grads while English App_13.pdf for English High School grads, both applications are to be printed on legal size papers (8" X 14") .
